Are browser based audioapplications the future of making Music?
There are definitly some very good reasons to make music online. And the audiotol is one of them.
Since the preview release of audiotol in march 2008, the audiotol team must have done an incredible work.
Due to Andre Michelle the initial mastermind behind the audiotool the team has rebuild the whole engine, which was already pretty well programmed, to become even more a rocksteady and quick expandable solution for the future.
The first sound demos from Andre Michelle and Joa Ebert are speaking a clear language. This sounds not like music from a browser.
This is music coming from a very good sounding application. And it seems to have new timebased steering controls,
I think the rumors of a timeline are no rumors anymore. And there will be a new synth (or synths) which in the Demo is already sounding like hell.
Further improvements will be covered by our audiotool test and interview with the team behind in the next couple of days. Can’t wait!
Update:
In the latest version of the closed Beta the remarkable Tonematrix is integrated. It has 8 pattern and you can use it to trigger other synths or with it’s own sound. Very cool!
